Snicker Salad

This is the third/final recipe this week. My senior year roommate in college made this for dessert one night and it is something that I've craved every year since. What's strange is that I don't even like cool whip! Or at least, I don't like it as the main ingredient for anything except this -- it's so good! This recipe is great for any party or picnic. Four stars on prep time, easy to make, and flavor!

Snicker Salad

Ingredients

1 8 oz regular container of Cool Whip
4-6 apples, diced into bite sized pieces (I like to use both Granny Smith and Braeburn)
6 Snickers candy bars

*If you'd like, you can also add 2 cups marshmallows and 1/2 cup Hershey's Carmel Sauce -- I've done this twice (including three weeks ago when I took the picture below, which doesn't do this justice) and it's very yummy.

Once the apples and candy bars are cut up, add cool whip (and if desired, sauce and marshmallows). Chill before serving.

  1. This sounds delicious. I know my kids would love it. And it has fruit in it, it is healthy.
